Aptonoth unfold

I give you, my next contribution to the online papercrafting community: 
A papercraft trophy/wall mount of the Aptonoth from Capcom's Monster Hunter Tri.

Aah, the majestic Aptonoth. They wander through fields, getting slaughtered by anything more dangerous than a kitten (and sometimes those too). Hunted for their meat, they are an important staple in the diet of every hunter too poor to afford mega dash juice.

I unfolded this in an attempt to practice before tackling larger projects. Those larger projects, however, may be a few steps too far up from this level of work. We'll see.

The 3D model itself was ripped from the game by somebody else, somewhere in the vast sea of the internet. If you ask me, I could point you in their direction.  You can download the .pdo file you see in the above picture with the download button on the right. The file can be unzipped with 7zip and opened with pepakura deigner or pepakura viewer. I encourage you to bring shame to my house by building it before I do.
